No successor planned for Ninentdo Switch, nor a price drop

Bad news for anyone who was waiting for a price drop to buy a Nintendo Switch console, because according to CEO Shuntaro Furukawa, there won’t be one anytime soon. Neither will a successor to the Switch however, so you’re set with your console for quite a while.
It is possible that by the end of the year a new version of the Switch will come out, with some better visuals and a nicer screen. Furthermore Furukawa revealed some sales data about the latest Nintendo games. Apparently Super Mario Party was sold 1.5 million times in its first month, while the Let’s Go games were sold 3 million times in their first week. Even better was Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with 5 million copies sold in its launch week.
